She began her professional career working alongside celebrity chef Francis Mallmann, with whom she worked for nine years. López May has established herself as a leader in Latin American gastronomy, participating in several cooking and travel TV shows, consulting for leading hospitality companies, and writing five books that have sold collectively over 150,000 copies. López May has traveled the world for her cooking, working in France, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Uruguay, and England, where she cooked at the renowned River Café in London. As a business woman and entrepreneur, López May has developed several product lines and launched her own marketplace that offers a variety of kitchen and cooking products.
