Prateek Sadhu’s food philosophy is rooted in sourcing regionally-specific food, foraging for unique ingredients, and harnessing the power of the soil. He has worked in leading kitchens around the world, including Michelin-starred restaurants across Europe. In 2016, Sadhu opened the restaurant Masque in Mumbai, where the modern Indian cuisine is inspired by Sadhu’s own formative years in Jammu & Kashmir. Masque was ranked in 2016 by Food Tank’s Top Restaurant Innovators in the World and in 2019, it was ranked by Food & Wine’s and Travel + Leisure’s inaugural list of the World’s 30 Best Restaurants. Most recently, in 2020, Masque received Miele’s One to Watch award at the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants awards.
