Desserted in Paris -
Chef Tal Spiegel is a pastry chef from Tel Aviv currently living and working in Paris, France.
Before becoming a dedicated pastry chef, Spiegel collected 8 years of experience working as Art Director in an advertising agency but later he decided to combine his two childhood passions, design and pâtisserie to begin his journey towards becoming the chef he is today.
Spiegel decided to leave his comfortable life and challenge his curiosity by moving to Paris to develop his culinary side and study Pâtisserie in the Ferrandi culinary school. After his studies, Spiegel trained in some of the best pâtisseries in Paris such as Gerard Mulot and Boulangerie Utopie. His work with chefs from all over Paris and the world has given him the creative push to take an independent path, working today as a consultant and teaching master classes.
Spiegel released his first book in 2017 and is currently working on a new one, which is expected to be released in 2022. Spiegel is also the owner of the Instagram account “desserted_in_paris”, in which he features mouthwatering pictures of Parisien desserts and men's fashion shoes.
