Chef Sandra Plevisani is a self-taught confectioner and pastry chef. She brings to her desserts her graphic design knowledge. Together with her husband, she has opened more than 20 restaurants. She has published a total of 56 pastry books over 18 years. She has had her own TV show for more than 17 years, called "Dulces Secretos" on Plus TV. In October 2018, she participated in Ted x Lima Women as an entrepreneur, and her talk was entitled "The Power of Promises Made with Love". In 2012, she won the Gourmand Award in Paris, France, for the world's best cookbook on Latin American cuisine, called “El gran libro del postre peruano”. In 2021, together with her husband, she opened “Papagiani”, a new concept of restaurant that offers pizzas “al taglio” and a wide range of desserts.
